Parent Involvement at Red Bank Elementary
At Red Bank Elementary, there are a variety of exciting ways parents can get involved. Parents can join the School Assessment and Review Team (SART), the School Site Council (SSC) or the Parent Teacher Club (PTC). Parents can volunteer in the library, in the classroom, or in the Snack Bar. To become a volunteer, one must follow the guidelines in Board Policy 9212 which includes completion of an electronic volunteer application and a current clear TB assessment/skin test.
Please click the link below to visit the Parent Volunteer page of the CUSD website to access the volunteer application. Should you have any questions, please contact the Red Bank Elementary Office at (559) 327-7800.

Parent Teacher Club
Each elementary and intermediate school in the district has a parent club organization. The primary purpose of a school's Parent Teacher Club (PTC) is to assist teachers in providing a quality educational experience for all students by sponsoring student/parent fundraising events. Please click the link below to visit the Parent Teacher Club page.
School Assessment Review Team (SART)
Each school in the Clovis Unified School District has a SART Committee. The SART Committee does not duplicate or assume functions of other school organizations such as the School Site Council or the Parent Teacher Club. Rather the SART Committee is concerned about the overall operation of the school. It serves as a community forum for communication and assessment of the school programs and as an advisory body to the principal.
School Site Council (SSC)
The SSC is composed of parents, students and school personnel and is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) programs. Members serve for two years and are elected by their peers.
Intercultural Diversity Advisory Council (IDAC)
Intercultural Diversity Advisory Council (IDAC): draws members from parents to represent our school at district level climate assessment/problem-solving meetings. The primary purpose of the Intercultural Diversity Advisory Council (IDAC), originally formed in 1988 as the Intercultural Advisory Council, is to assist in the formation and review of policies that assure non-discriminatory practices in all operational areas of the Clovis Unified School District. Its further mission is to assist in improving the cultural environment of the District.
